an 8:51-minute streaming version, download a zipped
video file and save it to your computer, or read the text-only
version of the "Teaching Children to Read"
video.

Follow the directions below to download
the video to your machine for repeated use.
PC users:
- Right mouse click on the link for
the video you would like to download.
- A menu will appear. In Netscape
choose 'Save Link As' and in Internet Explorer 'Save
Target As'.
- Create a folder on your desktop
called 'video' and save all videos to one folder.
- Locate the folder and choose 'Save'.
- Once the file has finished saving,
double click the file to view the video.
Mac users:
- Hold down the 'control key' and
click with the mouse on the link for the video you
would like to download.
- A menu will appear. In Netscape
choose 'Save this Link as' and in Internet Explorer
choose 'Download Link to Disk'.
- Create a folder on your desktop
called 'video' and save all videos to one folder.
- Locate the folder and choose 'Save'.
- Once the file has finished saving,
double click the file to view the video.
*Zip files are used to reduce the download
file size process by compressing the files for a quick
download. To view the downloaded video, PC users will
need WinZip
and Mac users will need StuffIt.
